Background
An international trading aggregator wanted to improve effectiveness of critical parts of it’s supply chain.
Orders from international clients were received either through email (specific order format per client) or through this company’s website.
Each client order was then broken down into items that need to be ordered from each supplier. It was absolutely crucial to ensure that the various lead times from each supplier were considered, accurate delivery schedules created before communicating to the clients, creating accurate export paperwork as per the formats prescribed by the law etc.
